Benfleet Camera Club - About us
The club's roots go back to the mid sixties when some enthusiasts got together at the back of Don Reed's photographic shop near the primary school in High Road, Benfleet.
We now meet on Monday evenings between September and May in St George's Church Hall, Rushbottom Lane, Benfleet. We meet at 7.45pm for an 8pm start and meetings are typically attended by about 60 members.
Membership fees for the 2009-2010 season are £26.00 for singles and £39.00 for couples which includes free admission to our Monday meetings. Juniors and students have free admission.
We also run a twice-monthly studio night which is held on Tuesday evenings in St George's Church Hall and for which there is a charge of £3.50 per head to cover costs.
