This course is designed to run over six separate two hour evening sessions (8pm to 10pm).
I have run the entire course twice before at Benfleet Camera Club, where we have attracted and kept many new members, mainly beginners, over the last two years.
I have also run separate elements of the course at other clubs in the area.
The course is structured to provide a coherent approach to digital photography, introducing beginners to the complete range of approaches and practices which will enable them to maximise their photographic experiences and satisfaction. The course is conducted at all times by means of practical demonstrations and visual aids.
26th June 2008: Session 1:
The digital camera, its controls and settings. Aperture and shutter priority, Iso, White balance, focus zones, flash settings and exposure compensation etc. Image composition and camera quality settings.
